David Hoffman is an American author, political commentator and media activist. His written works include fantasy fiction, political thrillers, love and romance, media history, a children’s book and a memoir. Before becoming a writer, he led the early anti-nuclear war movement and founded Internews, the world’s largest media development NGO. Wired Magazine has called him, “the nonprofit Ted Turner.” His articles have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Foreign Affairs magazine, the Wall Street Journal, and USA Today. He lives with his wife, Jane Rogers, in Tryon, North Carolina.
